# Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-11

Summary (not legally binding): If you request early access we store your email and your answer about what you are backtesting. We use basic site analytics. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

## What we collect

- Early access request: your email address, your free-text answer about what you are backtesting, your consent, and technical request details such as your browser's user agent and the time of the request.

- Site analytics: page views and basic performance measurements from the pages you visit, collected through PostHog analytics.

We do not collect payment details. Papyrus does not currently take payments.

## How we use it

We use early access requests to decide who to contact as access opens and to respond to you. We use analytics to understand which pages are used and to fix performance problems.

## Who we share it with

- PostHog (analytics).

- Resend (email delivery used to notify us of a new request).

- Cloudflare (hosting and database infrastructure for this site).

We do not sell personal information. We do not use AI providers to process your early access request.

## Retention

We keep early access requests until they are no longer needed for contacting you about access, and delete them on request.

## Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete the information we hold about you, and withdraw consent at any time. Because this site publishes no email address, make the request through the early access form and say that it is a privacy request.

## Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls on our hosting provider. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

## Cookies

See the [Cookie Policy](/cookies).

## Children

Papyrus is intended for developers and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

## Changes

We may update this policy and will change the effective date when we do.
